The Capitol District
Debuted in 2017, The Capitol District creates a new heart for downtown Omaha, providing much-needed density, diversity of use and cohesion with adjacent neighborhoods while complementing the nearby CHI Health Center and TD Ameritrade Park. It delivers a dynamic environment with a destination flavor, creating an authentic Omaha experience for residents and visitors.
The mixed-use development features unique shops, vibrant nightspots, gourmet dining, a full-service hotel, upscale apartments, signature office space and shared outdoor plaza space. The plaza is open, yet secluded, and serves as a gathering place for entertainment or just to relax.
LEO A DALY provided full architectural and engineering services for the 333-guestroom Omaha Marriott Downtown Capitol District hotel, apartment building with 218 units and 505-stall parking garage. LEO A DALY also created the development concept for the District as a whole.
