Broward College Library Space Renovation

The Broward College Library shares space with the Broward County Library. Work on the two-story facility included a full renovation of the Broward College Learning Resource Center. Programming was required to allow for administrative spaces, flexible spaces that are shared with other departments, and study areas.

The scope was developed out of a space planning exercise to identify areas that needed enhancements. Two large study areas required separation of both space and acoustics. The design solution involved a storefront system implementing acoustical glass. The resulting renovation created areas that accommodate group activities as well as enhance the Broward College identity making the space more appealing to the public and students alike.
