Roy is recognized for his extraordinary ability to complete projects on time and within budget, regardless of the challenges encountered. He is an expert in project management, project controls, (schedules, budgets and contract documents), project integration, contract administration, claims negotiations, quality assurance/quality control, intergovernmental agreements and value engineering.
Prior to his recent management of the Los Angeles studio, Roy also successfully ran the studio before serving 10 years as chief operations officer for the engineering brand of the firm, LAN. He has served as the firm’s managing director in Saudi Arabia; program manager for the Los Angeles Convention Center; project manager for the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels; program manager of the TSA/Boeing Nationwide Checked Baggage Security Program, involving 437 airports; and design manager for the BART/VTA Berryessa Extension Project in San Jose.
Roy has more than 35 years of experience with large venue projects, providing design leadership and construction management services. He is an expert in project management oversight, project controls, project integration, contract administration, quality assurance/quality control, intergovernmental agreements and value engineering, providing clients with innovative solutions to project challenges.
