Five LEO A DALY designers have been selected for the Great Diverse Designers Library and are included in the Say it Loud-Nebraska exhibition from Beyond the Built Environment. Beyond the Built’s mission is to engage community through architecture to advocate equitable, reflectively diverse environments. Senior Interior Designer Jennifer Ankerson was selected with our Mobile Learning Unit project for Omaha Public Schools. Also selected were project architects Stacy Feit and Jennifer Karls, and senior interior designers Heather Robbins and Diane Honeyman.
SAY IT LOUD is the activation of a national movement of sharing, protecting and celebrating the journey of the underrepresented to inspire the next generation. SAY IT LOUD engages diverse audiences through programming organized to elevate the identities and contributions of minority architects and designers with curated lectures and documentaries that testify to the provided value of their built work and its spatial impact. Beyond the Built Environment uniquely addresses the inequitable disparities in architecture by providing a holistic platform aimed to support numerous stages of the architecture pipeline.
