Tongda International Center

This headquarters facility creates a bold identity for a leading manufacturer of enclosures for electronic equipment. To distinguish the tower from the neighboring buildings and to make the structure appear taller, the face was subdivided into thin, vertical strips creating an optical illusion of slenderness.

Selection and use of several glass “skin” systems reinforces a sophisticated look. The south and north facades are a glass system with vertically expressive lines; the feature entry lobby is a clear glass container intended to be open and inviting.
