Zota Beach Resort

Located in Longboat Key near Sarasota, Florida, Zota Beach Resort has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind independent destination resort.

The LEO A DALY design team sought to give families an indulgent escape with a relaxed atmosphere. The resort is designed to be a place where guests can unwind that invokes a sense of adventure and restores one’s soul. The design draws inspiration from the natural island surroundings. Azure blues and deep sea tones in the lobby and guestrooms reflect ripples in the water and sand.

Details that echo the rich history of the island are scattered throughout the property for guests to discover. Designers drew inspiration from the Calusa Indians and their longboats, for which the island was named. The opulent lifestyles and art collection of the Ringling Brothers, who lived in the area, also played into the inspiration for the resort’s design. Each detail was selected for its bold character and capacity to offer a range of unique and unexpected guest experiences.
