Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University College of Arts and Sciences Building

A dramatic 40” diameter rooftop telescope highlights the design of the five-story science building. The facility houses the physics, chemistry, biology math, humanities, social sciences, and homeland security departments and features classrooms, staff offices, and laboratories using clean-room concepts, and static-free technologies. An interactive lobby display shares views of the stars from the telescope. Smaller roof mounted telescopes are used for classes as well as community outreach.
