Enoch Suhm named director of design in West Palm Beach

The award-winning architect has 14 years of experience leading a diverse range of hospitality, residential, corporate and entertainment projects 

LEO A DALY is pleased to announce the appointment of Enoch Suhm, AIA, as senior associate, director of design in the West Palm Beach studio. In this role he leads the studio in all matters of design strategy, project vision, culture and implementation. 

“It is with great pleasure that we enthusiastically welcome Enoch to the West Palm Beach studio. Enoch‘s impressive body of work and demonstrated passion for his craft will undoubtedly continue to build upon and reinforce LEO A DALY’s enduring design legacy,” said Bill Hanser, AIA, managing principal of the West Palm Beach studio. 

Suhm is an award-winning architect with 14 years of experience leading the conceptualization, development, and implementation of building design projects of all scales. He joins LEO A DALY from HKS, where he was vice president, senior designer and member of the Sustainable Champions Network. His portfolio of work includes projects in the hospitality, residential, corporate and entertainment markets. This multi-sector experience informs his designs from concept to construction details. His experience living and working in the Americas and Asia has given him an understanding of different cultures that allows him to design for diverse markets.  

Suhm’s designs have received awards such as the 2019 AHEAD Americas Best Resort Award, the 2019 Gold Key Award for the Best Luxury Lobby Design for the Belmond Cap Juluca Anguilla Hotel and Best New US Hotel with the Grand Hyatt Nashville in 2020. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Prairie View A&M University and a Certificate in Healthier Materials and Sustainable Buildings. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects. 

The West Palm Beach studio of LEO A DALY is one of the oldest and most respected design studios in South Florida. Founded in 1968, LEO A DALY is responsible for much of West Palm Beach’s defining architecture, including the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts expansion, Northbridge Center, and FAU College of Engineering and Computer Services. Recent projects from the firm include 360 Rosemary, Boca Grove Country Club and Arthrex Corporate Campus in Naples, Florida. The studio is currently engaged in projects with Palm Beach County, Broward County and Miami Dade College.
